This wall sculpture plays with a striking contrast between the solemnity of its composition and the innocence of its protagonist, a small child wrapped in a majestic outfit. Her serene, almost meditative expression is framed by a richly ornamented armor, transforming her into a figure of authority, almost divine.
Above her head, the radiant sun reinforces the sense of transcendence and power, while the intricate patterns and symmetry of the composition evoke a ceremonial aesthetic. Yet, behind this grandeur, the child's sweetness remains intact, creating a play of dualities between fragility and strength, childhood and eternity.
Sculpture modeled in clay, carved plaster, and repurposed objects. Reproduced in resin with new details by assembling repurposed objects and epoxy putty. Painted with shellac, chalk paint, acrylics, and varnish.
