This sculpture merges biological, ritual, and technological elements in a figure reminiscent of an alien deity or a princess from a future civilization.
The vibrant colors mainly orange, green, and turquoise—and the geometric patterns covering the face and body evoke a reimagined Mesoamerican aesthetic through a contemporary lens. The expression is serene, almost childlike, yet imbued with mystery, as if guarding ancient and inaccessible knowledge.
Sculpture modeled in clay, carved plaster, and repurposed objects. Reproduced in resin with new details by assembling repurposed objects and epoxy putty. Painted with shellac, chalk paint, acrylics, and varnish.
