This mystical sci-fi sculpture merges the human and the artificial in a compelling narrative. At the base, an elderly face brimming with wisdom seems to emerge from an organic mechanical structure, while above, a robotic figure gazes down with a piercing stare. The turquoise, gold, and reddish tones lend the piece a ritualistic quality, creating a striking contrast between the coldness of technology and the warmth of humanity. The intricate details and textures suggest a fusion of eras and worlds, inviting viewers to reflect on the relationship between the soul, time, and machinery in a universe where the spiritual and the technological converge.
Sculpture modeled in clay, carved plaster, and repurposed objects. Reproduced in resin with new details by assembling repurposed objects and epoxy putty. Painted with shellac, chalk paint, acrylics, and varnish.
18 x 7 x 37 cm | 7 x 2,76 x 14,50 in.
