Freestanding sculpture

A mechanical head with a look that is both endearing and unsettling. Its rounded forms and bluish patina evoke a humble, almost playful being, supported by a neck of gears and a worn wooden base. The piece hovers between the robotic and the childlike, as if an ancient curiosity were preserved within its circular eyes.
Sculpture modeled in clay, carved plaster, and repurposed objects; reproduced in resin. Painted with shellac, chalk paint, acrylics, and varnish.
