This sculpture presents the silhouette of a child in a fetal position, reminiscent of an ancient sacred figure, yet reimagined through a futuristic lens. Its surface mimics the appearance of aged wood, evoking traditional carving, while mechanical details and assembled found objects introduce a technological and speculative dimension.
The piece hovers at the threshold between the ancestral and the futuristic, the human and the artificial, with a delicate presence that evokes both tenderness and unease.
Sculpture modeled in clay, carved plaster, and repurposed objects. Reproduced in resin with new details by assembling repurposed objects and epoxy putty. Painted with shellac, chalk paint, acrylics, and varnish.
