Wall-mounted sculpture

This piece presents a haunting vertical trio: a skull with large hollow eyes at the top, a sorrowful elderly face in the center, and a tiny figure at the bottom, lost among gears. It feels as though time has been trapped in a circuit of matter and memory, where the cycle of life, death, and artificial creation becomes visible. The elderly face, carved with solemn expressiveness, seems to gaze inward, as if aware that there is little left to say. The work is infused with a majestic sadness, like a futuristic relic speaking of the fate of bodies—and the machines that will follow them.
Sculpture modeled in clay, carved plaster, and repurposed objects. Reproduced in resin with new details by assembling repurposed objects and epoxy putty. Painted with shellac, chalk paint, acrylics, and varnish.
