Freestanding sculpture

Conceptual sketch for a robotic character from one of the stories in the Kal universe. Its compact and symmetrical body, finished in copper and blue enamel, suggests both innocence and obsolete technology. The smooth, dark face —completely opaque— preserves the mystery: we do not know if someone is inside, or if no one remains. It was designed as an explorer of lost zones, without intervention.
Sculpture modeled with air-drying clay on a frame of wire and other materials. Painted with shellac, acrylics, and colored pencils.
