El Caballero del Ocaso VII — original drawing

Collection: El Caballero del Ocaso

111,50 €

Original inked drawing. Size is A3 (29.7 x 42 cm | 11.7 x 16.5 in).

Scene from the book El Caballero del Ocaso (Spanish Edition), which recounts the beginnings of an investigation that takes Lieutenant Oskar Arpad to the village of Parazyn. Sent by the Empire to uncover the origin of a possible conspiracy, Oskar faces the mistrust of the inhabitants, who blame an old local legend: the Knight of Twilight. As he searches for answers, the lieutenant begins to suspect that behind the rumors lies a truth darker than he could have imagined.

Please note: The original drawing may include traces of white correction fluid (e.g., Tipp-Ex) and other minor marks that may not appear in the scanned images due to the limits of scanning technology. This piece is a working drawing created for a project—not the final project itself—so its finishes are not perfect. The artist’s intention is to offer the work exactly as it was completed, in its “raw” state.

You can get El Caballero del Ocaso (Spanish Edition) through this link, along with an original sketch signed by Francesc Grimalt, only available at Artimia. A collector's item that reflects the artist's personal style.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Francesc Grimalt

Born in Palma de Mallorca in 1971, I studied Fine Arts and Philosophy at the University of Barcelona and furthered my education at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) in Paris.

My professional activity focuses on illustration, comics, and conceptual design for audiovisual projects, areas that I combine with teaching.

My work mainly revolves around fantasy (El Niño de Oro, Míseres), science fiction (El Caballero del Ocaso), and mystery (Noche de Oscuras Revelaciones). However, I am also interested in exploring other narratives, such as the introspective symbolism of Sergio Chejfec (El seguidor de la nieve) or the medieval Russian fantasy of the Dyachenko (El ritual).
