A fragmented face blending human features with a visibly mechanical assembly. The joints, rivets, and separation lines run across the surface like scars revealing its construction. The dark patina, worn along the edges, gives it an archaeological character, as if it were the remnant of an ancient automaton.
Sculpture carved in plaster, based on a cast from a fine grog refractory clay model, and reproduced in resin. Painted with shellac, chalk paint, acrylics, and varnish.
