A mechanical head in which the technical structure of the face merges with an intense and finely detailed polychromy. Deep blues, golds, and small red accents run across the surface in a network of dots and lines that soften the hardness of the metal. Raised on a simple stand, the sculpture takes on a quiet and concentrated presence, like a portrait of an artificial consciousness held in stillness.
Sculpture modeled in clay, carved plaster, and repurposed objects. Casted in resin with new details by assembling repurposed objects and epoxy putty. Painted with shellac, chalk paint, acrylics, and varnish.
